Sudan government has embarked on a process at the national level to develop a policy and strategic plan to give clarity and direction, and ascribes accountability for water, sanitation and hygiene development. The main mission of this Ministry is to establish laws, rules and regulations concerning water resources in general, and water supply and sanitation in particular.
